Artist: Trotsenko, Era

Born on June 6, 1930, in Novgorod (then USSR), Era Oleksandrivna Trotsenko is a Ukrainian painter who worked primarily in Ukraine. No widely cited date of death is known; most sources list only her birth, suggesting she may still be living or that her passing was not broadly published.

She received her artistic training at the Kharkiv Art School, followed by advanced studies at the Kharkiv Art Institute, one of Ukraine’s leading art academies.

Trotsenko’s career centers on easel painting, particularly oil on canvas, with a focus on figurative and genre scenes drawn from everyday life. From around 1961 onward, she regularly participated in national Ukrainian and all-Union (USSR) exhibitions, establishing her presence within the professional Soviet and Ukrainian art milieu.
