Franciscus Arnoldus (Frans) Langeveld was a Dutch painter. Born in Amsterdam in February 1877. Langeveld studied at the Evening School of the Working Stand in Amsterdam under the supervision of G.W. Dijsselhof and in the years 1896 and 1897 at the National School of Applied Arts in Amsterdam. Lived and worked in Amsterdam from 1892 to 1903 and then in Laren. In between, he also worked in Rotterdam, Paris and Munich. Frans Langeveld's works are part of the collection of the 'Singer Museum' in Laren.
